This home is full of character and exudes warmth in every corner!  It was originally built by an interior designer who loved to entertain.  The interior is open concept modern yet rustic with very warm colors.  Natural woods such as the oak hardwood floors on the main, fir floors in the loft and solid fir structural beams provide that special rustic cabin feeling with all the high end amenities necessary to enjoy your fireside getaway.  With two wood burning fireplaces, one in the eight seat dining area and one in the front sitting room, a crackling fire sets the scene for relaxation and mountain-gazing from all areas of this home.  

The large gourmet kitchen is a great area for cooking or socializing with top of the line appliances which include a commercial stove (2 ovens, 8 burners), a microwave, an Asko dishwasher, 2 deep sinks, stainless steel shelving & countertops, granite island with six stools.  Natural Cherry cabinetry round out this incredible kitchen. 

The additional loft, with fir plank floors and large fir stairs, is a great reading spot or an area to gaze upon the southern mountain range with Lord Grassi’s Ridge and Ha Ling Peak in your view.  Winter or summer, the warm sun is captured throughout this home with it’s oversized windows exposed to the East, South and West!  

Fireside Getaway is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood on the Sunny Side of Canmore, less than a block away from Cougar Creek and pathways.   Spectacular views of the Three Sisters mountains can be taken in from the hot tub and back decks as well.  

With it’s great cabin feel, this is relaxation at its best!!  

Accommodation is for 8 adults and 1 child in three bedrooms with queen beds, 1 double and 1 single pullout futons in the loft.  There are three full bathrooms, two with tub & shower, and a half bath.
