Our Sanctuary has two levels.
After entering the house and hanging your coats, there
is a game room with a multi-games table, bean bags, a CD
player, a TV/VCR,
books and magazines. It
is great place to spend shared time together or send the
children off to play. From
there, you enter a door to a separate downstairs suite.
There is a large bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa.
Sliding glass doors open out to the back deck and
backyard with lots of trees.
You can relax at an outdoor table or swing in the
hammock. From the
bedroom, you walk down a small corridor and enter a
combination living/dining room and kitchenette.
There is a fridge, a convection microwave, toaster,
coffee maker and cupboards fully stocked with plates, pots,
cutlery, bowls, etc. At the end of the room is a full bathroom
and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
There is an entrance to a spacious two-car garage that
can be used to store skis, bikes, and other gear as well as
two cars.
As you climb the stairs to the second level, “Our
Sanctuary” opens up to a magnificent dining and living area.
There is a gas fireplace, stereo, CD/DVD player, and
TV, a comfortable leather couch and three equally comfy
leather armchairs. Lounging here you can see panoramic
mountain views from the large south facing windows.
There is a spacious dining area with a table and six
chairs.
The
kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and more: a
dinette set, a microwave, full size range and oven, fridge,
and dishwasher. The
kitchen opens up to a deck with a large BBQ overlooking the
backyard and a staircase leading down to the lower deck.
There
are three bedrooms upstairs.
Two bedrooms share a full bathroom, and the master
bedroom has a 3/4 bathroom and a walk-in closet.
All bedrooms have Queen size beds, alarm clocks,
dressers and night stands.
In
addition to garage parking, the driveway has parking space for
two cars and in front of “Our Sanctuary” you can park two
more cars.
